Elemotion Foundation

Elemotion Foundation is a nonprofit organization working to improve the lives of endangered Asian elephants. The foundation began in summer 2009 with an educational brochure for tourists visiting Asia. In January 2011, the foundation sponsored its first elephant and received its official nonprofit status and registry number.

The goal of the website was to not only educate users about the cruel nature of elephant tourism, but also help them understand more about elephants in general. Because of the international audience, the site needed to be translated in seven languages and also incorporate a payment gateway for donations.
